As a child, Jan Leland painted alongside her mother in her mother's ceramic studio in Chicago. Those years gave her the inspiration and knowledge into the world of creativity. After many years away, Jan decided to pick up a paint brush again. Taking formal training at the Milan Art Institute, Jan has worked with many different mediums and processes that have led her to finding her voice as an artist. Leland now paints freely through Abstract Expressionism. Jan wishes for you, through her art, to follow your dreams, use imagination and always spread love with a renewed passion. Jan raised 3 beautiful and successful children and now has 6 adorable grandchildren. Leland resides in Uptown Dallas and enjoys spending a large amount of time near and on a lake surrounded by a forest of trees in East Texas.
